Please join World Resources Institute and the Electrification Coalition for a virtual roundtable discussion on the wide-ranging benefits of electric school buses and New Jersey’s window of opportunity to accelerate deployment.
We are excited to share that New Jersey’s First Lady, Tammy Murphy, will deliver opening remarks. Over the years, Tammy has worked with non-profits, a think-tank, and other organizations focused on the environment, education, health care, youth and family services, as well as the arts and trans-Atlantic relations.
The roundtable will also feature experts from government and industry, as well as advocates and school districts on the front lines. This executive-appropriate discussion is your chance to engage directly with experts on the latest policy and technology developments and help chart New Jersey’s electric school bus course.
School bus electrification will improve health and academic outcomes for young people, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and expand the green economy. These benefits are especially important for high-pollution corridors, and Black, Hispanic and low-income households, which are disproportionately exposed to health risks.
Join us to make sure New Jersey is poised for this critical opportunity.
Speakers:
First Lady Tammy Snyder Murphy
